Can't See Me

When was it made? Winter 2009/10.

What's it about? An experimental look at what controls us. There are some choices we make and there are some choices we think we make.

Who's in it? Martin Henderson, Laura Stephen, Emma Henderson.

Who made it? Written, shot and edited by Chris Dunne, sounds by Richard Paynter.

Where was it shot? Armadale, Bathgate

What gear was used? A Canon 5D mk2, Adobe Premiere.

Anything else? To get used to the new camera we made a short which has loads of ideas/shots. It draws on everything from Situationism to kids TV. The most surreal ZMO undertaking by a long shot to set us up for the more traditional Junkyard Angel which we hope to shoot sometime 2010. If you like this one, check out the "b-side" called Guernica.

The movie won the "156 People Can't Be Wrong" audience award at this year's CineFringe Festival. Have a look at the pictures and newsclippings from the event at the bottom of this page.

Can't See Me also featured at the Leith Film Festival, The Loch Ness Film Festival and the Deep Fried Festival amongst others.
