An idea dreamed up in Tokyo and finished in Madrid
a year later. It has all the hallmarks of our previous films
whilst expanding the boundaries. We were going to shoot a script
called "Junkyard Angel" but went with this instead.
It's all very far out. Not one for kids.
We had our usual collaborators and loads of excellent
new people. Colin working the camera, Dave on the FX, Davie
helping with the story, Lisa on the edit and George doing the
colour. Most effort on a production yet. And of course 2 brand
new actors - Will and Jackie.
The film was shown at 2011's CineFringe
festival which took place during the Edinburgh Fringe Festival
over several dates in August, where it was named in the shortlist
of the most popular films with audiences. The movie was also
shown at the Focus
Left event held at The Arches in Glasgow and at the Tri-Cities
International Fantastic Film Festival in Richland Washington,
USA
